Yes, its been a couple of days! After going strong with posts we had to take just a little time off to heal our typing fingers!

The Super Bowl just ended a couple of hours ago and the fun is coming to an end. All of our Albany NY DJ personnel are on their way back from big parties... it was a great game, worthy of a Super Bowl for sure.

Ok all of you Albany NY DJ folks... now its time to answer the question... "what is your favorite event to work?" Is it a wedding, anniversary party, engagement party, corporate event??? Just email us and let us know...

The last time we asked a similar question we got hundreds of entries... (unfortunately they were all from the same person... me!!!)

Well, today was a day of cleanup... lots of new snow, lots of shoveling and lots of snowblowing! Not exactly a wonderful day for being outdoors... at least it wasn't windy.

No more snow for all of you Albany NY DJ people, at least not for a few more days... that's great news... I guess Global Warming is pretty much out the window at this point... oh well, poor Al Gore!!! Albany NY DJ - Blizzard!!!

Hi all you Albany NY DJ folks... it looks like we have another blizzard to deal with... 6 or 7 inches already down and the biggest part of the storm is on its way after midnight!

Once again, good your equipment won't get wet since most of the parties are on the weekend. Speaking of sound equipment... what is the best piece of sound equipment you own? Many people will be reporting in to tell us, I'm sure... we'll post the results for you sometime around... never!

NYC - Albany DJ

It was a great weekend in NYC for all of you Albany DJ folks! We had a great time and got there just one day after the 19 inch snowfall. The city was pretty much cleaned up, some streets closed, so it was a little bit more congested than usual, but still manageable.

Hope all of the Albany NY DJ folks are doing well. There are parties, weddings and special events all over the place this weekend... we are going crazy here trying to keep up with it all... lol.

The weather is C O L D here... going well below zero soon. The equipment shouldn't be left out for too long or your tubes will blow... to say nothing of what will happen to your equipment!!! :)

Now It's Cold...

Ok, we've gotten hit with snow and ice and pretty much everything else you can think of... and now its going to get bitter cold for all of you Albany NY DJ types out there! We're done with the events pretty much for tonight with no reported major problems... so that's always good to hear.

It Never Stops Here!

Wow... another cold, wet day for you Albany DJ's. Midweek... and possible more snow on the way for Friday. We are putting out a ton of DJ's this weekend... so get ready early, dress warm and put on a good show.

Spring is around the corner... so I'm told. Lets see if it really happens early this year or not. On days like this I forget I why I haven't moved to a warmer climate!

Cold, Snow, Ice...

Yes, loyal readers... lol... it has hit... rain, snow, sleet and hail... let's see if that can stop the U.S. mail... ha!... or, our Albany NY DJ's. It was a bit of a mess out this morning. Hopefully it will clear up soon. It has gotten warmer out, so that's a good thing. Now we just have to suffer through another day of cleanup...

Albany NY DJ | More Snow; Ice!!!

Here's the weather outlook for all of you Albany NY DJ's... "terrible"!!! Its going to be snowing and probably a bit of freezing rain while we're at it. The bad weather starts tonight, overnight.

So, hopefully we don't have too many midweek events going on, as the driving will not be all that good. Weddings, parties and the like will probably be thrown off schedule with all of the bad weather that we are expecting.

Albany NY DJ | Cold... Snow On The Way

Wow... can you Albany NY DJ believe that you have to work on such cold nights? Not only did you miss football games during the playoffs, but you also had to deal with the cold weather as well.

On Tuesday there is more snow on the way, but you Albany DJs may just be in luck by having it out of the way before next weekend. Don't worry, I'm told that the nice weather is just around the corner.

Let It Snow...

Albany DJ blog is digging out of the snow like everyone else today! It's pretty nice looking outside with all of the white, but not much fun to be shoveling.

Interestingly other parts of the country that are typically much warmer than us are also feeling the effects of the snow and ice. The Albany DJ roads are finally clearing up after the snow seemed to last a bit longer than expected.

Oh No... More Snow!!!

Looks like all of you Albany DJ's are going to be battling snow again for the next few days. Luckily it may miss the weekend. Tonight is the national championship for college football, so I'm sure most people are tied up with that tonight!

Sunday Playoff Football...

Quite Sunday today... watched a little of the playoffs and watched the Siena college basketball game as well. Good weekend for you Albany DJ football fans with 3 out of the 4 playoff games going right down to the last few Albany DJ plays! Pretty exciting.

Siena doesn't seem to have it much on the basketball court this year. A pretty disappointing weekend for them, and so far, a very bad year compared to what we have come to expect from them. Hopefully they will improve as the year progresses... although things don't look very good at the moment!

Albany DJ | We Got The Snow

Well, we wound up getting only about 6 inches of snow or so, so that wasn't too bad. There was a major party at the Crowne Plaza Hotel tonight downtown Albany and there were 2 great DJ's there as well. Enjoyed listening to them both... one during the afternoon of the informal wine tasting and the other in the evening at the formal event...

Albany NY DJ - Winter Snow

It's snowing in Albany DJ land! We expected to get about 6-8 inches... not good for those who have jobs this weekend as a wedding DJ. Hopefully everyone will be safe as they are going back and forth from playing that music and making he parties a hit.

What a day... its still cold outside and I'm certainly waiting for winter to end although there is still much more to come. The countdown to nice weather however starts for me right after the New Year, so I'm starting to think spring even though the temperature tells me different!
